Best place to start when looking for NONCOMMERCIAL psycholgical tests/instruments

Now that UNM Libraries subscribes to the APA's PsycTESTS database, identifying and accessing the full text of instruments is MUCH easier!  Try it out.  If you DO NOT find what you need there, visit our research guide on finding Psychological & Educational Tests & Measures for additional strategies and tools to identify these.

Best Place to Find Psychology Books: UNM Library's Quicksearch

  • Keyword
  • Title
  • Author
  • ISBN
  • ISSN

This box searches UNM's library catalog to find books at UNM AND other libraries from around the world (which you can request from UNM).

SEARCH TIPS: 

  • KEYWORD: type some words in the box above (this option will search our catalog for any record with those words in the title, description or subject field.) 
    • Once you find a source or two that look really good, note the SUBJECT links. Click on them or at least write out the terms. You can do a "Subject" search too when you’re browsing. 
  • TITLE: If you know the title of what you are looking for, enter the EXACT title in quotation marks.  
  • AUTHOR: Type the author’s last name first, followed by the author's first name.
