Welcome to our annual event, "Love in the Archives," where this year we celebrate the profound connection between humanity and the natural world with our theme "Love of Nature."
Nature has long been a source of inspiration, solace, and wonder for people throughout history. This event is a tribute to the fundamental bond we all share with nature, acknowledging its beauty, resilience, and the profound impact it has on our well-being. Join us as we explore the myriad ways in which people express their love for nature, from art and poetry to conservation efforts and the study of wildlife. We hope to see you all there.
Come and see us on Wednesday, February 14, 2023, at the Frank Waters Room in Zimmerman Library from 10am – 1pm. We will have CSWR collection materials on display along with materials related to Open Education Resources. There will be a card making station, some crafts, and light refreshments. We will also have a drawing for a special prize.
Digital exhibit built by Portia Vescio and Jennifer Dawn Eggleston with contributions from Amber Lane, Mathieu Debic, Sara Velasquez, and Nancy Brown-Martinez.
We encourage everyone who is able to visit our event in person. Just a reminder for those coming from off-campus, and even some of you on campus, you now need to show an ID to visit Zimmerman Library. Visit the desk near the library entrance to check-in. See our library Visitors Page for more information.
