The Mystery Photo was a close-up of the “Wood Grids-3 Pieces” art piece by Denise Yaghmourian that is located in Centennial Library.

As noted in the Libguide on Public Art at UNM:

Denise Yaghmourian lives and works in Phoenix, Arizona, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in painting at Arizona State University in 1991.  Her current sculptural work is characterized by the use of repetitive patterns.  The mathematical repetition of cubical masses in this work produces an almost meditative effect, ideally suited for its location in the science and engineering library.
