Commercial/Published Tests are available directly from a commercial test publisher for a fee and typically are acccessible only to qualified/certified professionals. You will seldom, if ever, find the items from these instruments in the public domain. A service found on the ETS website that allows you to find information about 25,000 tests (commercial and unpublished) and their availability. Actual tests are not included. However, some of the unpublished tests are available on microfiche at the UNM Library (as the database includes indexing to the Tests in Microfiche set we own). Also includes about 1000 tests that are downloadable for a $25 fee. To access the other tests, you will need to contact the test publisher.
The library has the print editions from 1940-2001. The acclaimed yearbooks are designed to assist professionals in selecting and using standardized tests. The series, initiated in 1938, provides factual information and critical reviews on the construction, use, and validity of commercially available tests published in English. NOTE: UNM no longer has access to the online MMY.

Included for each test is a brief description, purpose, method, publisher, availability, cost. Review or evaluations are not included; see the companion volume Test Critiques (below) for reviews.
