It's important for students to check their bursar's account because this is where the university charges you. Your bursar's account is where the university charges you for tuition, student fees, housing, meal plans, books, parking tickets, and course materials.
Understanding how your account works helps you be informed about what you owe. If you owe money on your bursars' account, that can affect your ability to register for classes the following semester.
You can access your Bursar’s Account through the myUNM portal, where you’ll be able to:
View your charges and balance
Make secure payments
Set up payment plans
Sign up for direct deposit refunds
Authorize parents or sponsors to help manage your account
When it comes to books and course materials, some charges may appear directly on your Bursar’s Account, especially if you opt into programs that provide digital access to textbooks or bundled materials. UNM may also offer Open Educational Resources (OER) for some courses, which are free or low-cost alternatives to traditional textbooks.
For international students, UNM accepts payments through services like Flywire to make international transfers easier and more affordable. You can also grant authorized user access to a family member or sponsor to help manage payments.
Regularly checking your Bursar’s Account helps you stay organized, avoid late fees, and register for classes on time. If you need assistance, the UNM Bursar’s Office is ready to help with any questions about charges, payments, or financial options.
First, go to MYUNM website (https://my.unm.edu/home). You can see the "Login" portal on the top right of the website.

After Logging in to your portal, you can see the bar on the top left including "Affiliate Life, "Your name", "Student Life" and "Student Guide. By clicking on "Student Life", you can see the portal to Loboweb which named "ENTER LOBOWEB" and you can enter your loboweb account with a simple login with your net id and password.

In the Loboweb website, you can see some tabs on the top of the page (student, financial aid, employee, payment, department forms). By going to the "Student" tab, you can see make payments link which directly leads you to your Bursar's account. You will need another login here because of security options.

After login, you can see BURSAR ACCOUNT SUITE link in the bottom of the page. Click on it to transfer to your Bursar's account.
