Are you interested in learning new things? Do you love trying new activities? Then Love in the Archives is for you! This year we are exploring themes related to the Love of Learning. Learning is not limited to students and schools, though they are key participants. Anyone can have a love of learning. Lifelong learners travel the world, learn new skills, and even take up new professions at various stages of their life. Children incorporate legends and fairy tales into their games and play. Schools and universities have been trying to make learning more fun and to make learning more available to those that are interested. To all of those who are interested in learning something new, we think this event will be for you!
This year, we are returning to an in-person Love in the Archives event. Join us on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at the Frank Waters Room in Zimmerman Library from 10am – 1pm. We will have CSWR collection materials on display along with materials related to Open Education Resources. There will be a card making stations, some crafts, and light refreshments. We will also have a drawing for a special prize.
Digital exhibit built by Portia Vescio and Jennifer Dawn Eggleston with contributions from Nancy Brown-Martinez, Cindy Abel Morris, and Mathieu Debic.
We encourage everyone who is able to visit our event in person. Just a reminder for those coming from off-campus, and even some of you on campus, you now need to show an ID to visit Zimmerman Library. Visit the desk near the library entrance to check-in. See our library Visitors Page for more information.
