NSIDC publishes data products, tools, and resources to support research into frozen realms: the snow, ice, glaciers, frozen ground, and climate interactions that make up Earth’s cryosphere.

This online database describes, indexes, and provides access to diverse data sets generated by Arctic and Antarctic researchers. It covers a range of disciplines from natural sciences and policy, to health and social sciences. The PDC Geospatial Search tool allows searching data using a mapping interface and other parameters.

The Arctic Council is an intergovernmental forum for countries with lands within the Arctic Circle. In the past, Council task forces have produced research on short-lived climate forcers and other relevant topics.

This website compiles information about a large scientific campaign that generated numerous projects, datasets, multimedia communication products, and more. Many websites related to the IPY are now defunct, but a free final summary report is available from the National Academy of Sciences.

This website is not currently updated, but it still provides access to scientific research on polar bears as recent as 2019.
