The Center for Southwest Research (CSWR) is committed to preserving the records of grassroots activists and student organizations in Chicago and Hispanic communities of the Southwest.
These records are of use to students, scholars, and community members seeking to better understand the work of these activists and organizations. The records contain extensive documentation for those studying issues of Southwestern communities, including education, health, economics, land, water, and environmental pollution.
Many of these collections also document the extensive networking between local, regional, national, and international groups.
