Source Evaluation

Let's Begin...

Audience: Students who have found a source to begin evaluating.

Goal: Build a habit of asking who created the source and why. Recognize that a transparent source should help you answer those questions easily, but remember to quickly verify that information outside of the source in a separate web search.

Notes: This cue overlaps significantly with "Do I know what this is?" Be sure to check that out for a deeper dive into identifying formats of information.
