Centennial Science and Engineering Library (CSEL) will be closed Thursday, October 11 – Saturday, October 13 during Fall Break while sewer lines are replaced in the area.
Some necessary excavation outside the building will begin on October 9 or 10. This will not impact entry into CSEL but there could be some noise in the library caused by the equipment.
All other main campus libraries will be open but on reduced hours for fall break. All hours can be found at library.unm.edu.
There will be no access to physical collections in Centennial Library, including course reserves and collections in the Map and Geographic Information Center (MAGIC) during this time since library staff will not be able to occupy the building during the repair work. The closure will not affect access to online library resources.
For help with research questions, students and library users can visit one of the other library buildings or contact Ask a Librarian via text at 505-431-4711, by phone at 505-277-9100 or by chat and email from library.unm.edu.
Students who planned to use the Math Mall during this time will be able to do testing in Zimmerman Library 254.
