Welcome, Marlene Valdez, new Fiscal Services Tech!
The College of University Libraries & Learning Sciences is excited to welcome Marlene Valdez as the new Fiscal Services Tech in Budget & Cost Management department.Image of Lobo statue near South Entrance of Zimmerman Library


Marlene started at the College of University Libraries & Learning Sciences in May 2022. Prior to CULLS, Marlene worked as the Administrative Coordinator and Assistant to the Director of UNM Facilities Management. She also worked at UNM Law School from 2016-2021. 

 

Marlene was born and raised in Albuquerque and previously worked and lived in Los Angeles. Marlene loves to travel, visit museums, star-gazing, and spending time with family. 
“I am excited to perform accounting duties and to work with people in BCM. I’ve been an administrative assistant for many, many years, but this is truly what I enjoy and do best. I also really like my office and the décor around Zimmerman Library,” said Marlene.
