What are excited about in your new job?

I’m very excited to be working with students and faculty in a university setting. Being able to establish those connections and help patrons along in their knowledge-seeking endeavors is one of my favorite aspects of working in libraries.

What do you like to do for fun?

I love to read in my free time, go to concerts, and collect hobbies to keep me busy on the weekends. When the weather begins to cool, I love to go hiking or on long car-rides with no destination in mind.

What are you reading (or watching or playing or listening to right now?)

I am a huge fan of everything fantasy, historical, or horror. With the beginning of the Spooky-Season, I am currently making my way through every B-rated horror movie on Netflix.

If you could time travel, where would you go and why?

I would love to have been an observer of Medieval Europe, as that is where most of my scholarly interests are. I’d love to see all the daily things that were happening that have been lost to history.

If you didn’t work in libraries, what do you think you’d be doing?

If I didn’t work in here in the library, I would like to believe that I would be working as a researcher or scholar in some other capacity – doing my own research for publication. However, library-work and working with my community has always been my goal.
