On Friday, April 26th the Organization, Information, and Learning Sciences (OILS) program hosted its annual OILS Expo in Zimmerman Library. OILS Expo 2019 included 29 participants - Undergraduate, Masters, and Ph.D. students from the OILS program - presenting research and design projects covering a wide range of topics.

The OILS Expo is an important part of the curriculum, providing students the opportunity to gain valuable experience presenting their work in a professional setting. Student participants received feedback about their research from colleagues, faculty members, and field professionals.

Mark Emmons, Associate Dean of Public Services and OILS Professor commented, “the OILS Expo is always one of my favorite events of the year because I get to speak to our students as they showcase their knowledge and the research they have conducted. Our students are so creative and their work has such practical applications that I am always left impressed.”
