Indigenous Language Apps

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) projects focus on bridging the technological gaps in underserved communities. The majority of the Indigenous Mobile Technology projects featured in this site use mobile technologies to support the education and revitalization of Indigenous languages.

The Indigenous Mobile Technology projects are created by Indigenous communities and their collaborators or partners. Indigenous Nations in this site are in the countries of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United States. The Indigenous Peoples are referred to by their specific Indigenous name or nation, unless otherwise noted.
