Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) is an engineering and science laboratory managed and operated by Sandia Corporation (Sandia), a wholly owned subsidiary of Lockheed Martin Corporation. Sandia manages and operates SNL as a contractor for the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration.

Long-term and short-term management activities aimed at preserving and enhancing the quality of the environment have been implemented at SNL for more than 50 years.
