Ice Breakers

Good short ice breaker.

"Tell me your name and a boring fact.  I'll start.  My name is Glenn and my heels blister easily/ I drink coffee/ I wear shoes."

Works better for larger classes.

  • Write down pairs of animals on slips of paper and put them in a hat (i.e. two slips of paper should say "horse", two should say "cow" and so on)
  • Participants draw slips.  They must find the person who has their same animal.  The catch is that they can only make the noise of the animal.

This is hilarious.  People end up mooing at each other or chirping or hissing until they find their partner.
