Like many units on campus the College of University Libraries and Learning Sciences relies on student employees in all areas of the College. The Hulsman Outstanding Student Employee Award was established in 2017 to recognize their important contribution to our academic mission. A selection committee composed of College faculty and staff reviewed nominations made by supervisors and chose ten winners based upon outstanding performance, initiative, reliability, quality of work, attitude and overall contribution to the College and its users. Winners of the award will receive a $250 award and will be recognized at a reception later this spring.

The 2019 winners of the Hulsman Outstanding Student Employee Award winners are:

Daniel Albert, Organization, Information and Learning Sciences

Daniel Atchison, Access Services, Parish Library

Ruth Avila, Center for Southwest Research and Special Collections

Cindy Botello, Access Services, Zimmerman

Nyuana Cargill, Access Services, Zimmerman

Michelle Mackel, Access Services, Zimmerman

Kiko Martinez, Access Services, Centennial Science and Engineering Library

Katelyn Nicholas, Access Services, Centennial Science and Engineering Library
