Library Links

Use LIBROS to find books, government documents, or to determine whether we have the paper or microfilm copy of a journal.
  • Ejournal finder
The ejournal finder is the library's catalog for online journal subscriptions. Check here to see whether we have an online subscription for a title and which years are covered.
  • Interlibrary Loan
Borrow books or get copies of articles from journals we don't own at UNM.
  • Library Hours
  • University Libraries homepage

I've put together some resources to guide you to the information sources you will need for your research in Environmental Management. On the left side of this page you will find links to basic (but important!) library resources, like the online catalog. The tabs in this Research Guide will help you: select databases to search for articles; find government information; locate books; and link to help for legal or cartographic research.

Other Research Guides may be helpful, too! Check out the guide for water research in the west or other pages that discuss research in the University Libraries' special collections

Good luck this semester!

Annotated Bibliographies

  • Purdue OWL (online writing lab)
Purdue University's Online Writing Lab explains the purpose and content of an online bibliography, as well as examples (see the side menu bar at the link for samples).
  • Olin & Uris Libraries at Cornell University
Cornell's libraries also provide a tipsheet on creating an annotated bibliography
  • CAPS
UNM's Center for Academic Program Support (CAPS) provides tutoring and drop-in support in writing. Check the link for hours and to schedule an appointment.
  • GROWL - Graduate Online Writing Lab @ UNM
