Welcome!

Are you interested in geography, history, geology, or outdoor activities such as hiking, biking or camping? Whatever your needs or interest, maps can add a new dimension to your research, assignments, work or recreational activities The Map and Geographic Information Center has thousands of maps and atlases on topics as diverse as flood zones in Bernalillo County to mineral resources in East Asia.

This guide is designed to help get you started with your library research. Click on the "I need to find..." tab above to find online cartographic resources as well as journals and books. If you would like an orientation to the map room individually or as a class, please contact me to set up a time.

Please see the Map Room Hours box  for current hours. We are open fewer hours during intersessions and during the summer. We post any known closures on the door and on our voice mail at 277-5738.
